Custom Optical Fitting Standard
Prescription lenses are customized according to the exact optical parameters provided in your prescription. Once custom-fitted into a frame, lenses cannot be exchanged or refunded.
1. Custom Prescription Fitting Rule
Every prescription lens is individually surfaced, coated, and glazed according to customer-supplied Rx values (Sphere, Cylinder, Axis, Add, Pupillary Distance). Because lenses cannot be reused for another individual, sales of fitted prescription lenses are final.
2. Customer Prescription Accuracy Responsibility
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and valid prescription values issued by a certified optometrist. Designers Glasses is not responsible for vision discomfort stemming from invalid or incorrect prescription values entered during checkout.
3. Glazing Error Guarantee
If our optical laboratory makes a fabrication error that deviates from your submitted prescription beyond standard optical tolerances, we will re-glaze your lenses free of charge.
